Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association will process your personal data only when it is necessary for realizing the purposes mentioned above.

If you withdraw your consent to process your data for marketing purposes, Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association will cease to process your personal information for this purpose, without affecting the previously processed information on the grounds of your expressed consent before withdrawal.

  1. Right to be informed, respectively right to receive details regarding the personal data processing activities, in conformity with those written above;
  2. Right to access information, respectively the right to obtain confirmation from Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association with regards to personal data processing, also details of the data processing method according to which information is processed, the purpose for which processing is made, the recipient or the categories of recipients of these data, etc.;
  3. Right to rectification, respectively the right to obtain correction, without justified delay by Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association of the inexact/ not justified personal data, also the completion of incomplete data;

Rectification/ completion will be communicated to every recipient to which datas were transmitted, except for the case in which this act is considered impossible or assumes disproportionate efforts.

  1. Right to delete data, without unjustified delays, (“the right to be forgotten”), in case when one of the following motives is applicable:
    • the data are not necessary anymore to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
    • when consent is withdrawn and does not exist any other juridical ground for processing;
    • when the targeted person opposes to processing and there are not any legitimate motives to prevail;
    • when the personal data were processed illegally;
    • when the personal data must be deleted to respect a legal obligation;
  1. Right to restriction of processing when:
    • the person contests the accuracy of the data, for a period which permits us to verify the correctness of the data;
    • the processing is illegal, and the targeted person opposes to deleting personal data; asking for restricting of their use instead;
    • the operator does not need anymore the personal data in the purpose of processing and the targeted person asks for them for ascertainment, exercising or defense of a law in court; or
    • the targeted person was opposed to processing ( of anything else but direct marketing), for the period in which is verified if the legitimate rights of the operator prevailed upon the rights of targeted person.
  1. Right of data portability, respectively (i) right to receive personal data in structured method, used in the usual way and in a readable format, also (ii) the right to these data to be transmitted towards Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association to other operator of data, as far as the conditions provided by the law are fulfilled;
  2. Right to oppose – regarding the processing activities în ceea ce privește activitățile de prelucrare can be exercised by submitting a request as indicated below:
    • at any time, for reasons relating to the particular situation of each person, unless the Roundtable on Ethnic Relations can demonstrate that he has legitimate and compelling reasons justifying the processing and which prevails over the interests, rights and freedom of the data subjects or that the purpose is the finding, exercise or defense of a right in court;
  • At any time, free of charge and without any justification, if the data you are targeting are processed for direct marketing purposes, if you decide to withdraw your consent.
  1. The right not to be subject to an automatic individual decision, namely the right not to be the subject of a decision taken solely based on automatic processing activities, including the creation of profiles, which produces legal effects concerning the data subject or affects him similarly to a significant extent;
  2. The right to address to the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (B-dul General Gheorghe Magheru nr.28-30, sector 1, București, cod poștal 010336, tel: 0040318059211) and the competent court for any violation of the use of your personal data to the extent that you deem necessary after first notifying the Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association operator.

VIII. The security of personal data
Considering the context and the purposes of the processing, the costs of the implementation and the risk presented by the processed data categories, the Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association implements technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the processed personal data.

IX. Suplimentary information
If some of your data are incorrect, you are required to inform the operator as soon as possible.
In order to exercise the above mentioned rights, you should address the Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association with a written, dated and signed application to: gdpr@ethnicrelations.ro

We, Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association, are obliged to respond to your requests without undue delay, within one month of receipt of your application. This period may be extended by two months when necessary, taking into account the complexity and the number of applications.

Any kind of information or request in exercising your personal data rights is free of charge. If your claims are grossly unfounded or excessive, especially because of their repetitive nature, we, the Roundtable on Ethnic Relations Association, have the right to refuse to comply with such a request or to charge a reasonable fee depending on administrative costs, and it is our duty to demonstrate the obviously unfounded or excessive demand.
